Delete saved measurements in GPS Area

GPS Area does not require an account. Most app data is stored locally on your iPhone and can be deleted by you at any time.

  1. Delete one saved area or distance: Open GPS Area → Library → tap the trash button on the saved measurement card or open the measurement detail and choose Delete Area.
  2. Confirm deletion: Confirm the delete dialog. This removes that saved measurement from the local app database.
  3. Delete exports you created: If you exported PNG/PDF files or shared them to Files, Photos, Mail, Messages, cloud storage, or another app, delete those copies in the destination app too.
Full local cleanup

Delete all saved areas and app settings

  1. Delete all measurements: Open GPS Area → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Areas.
  2. Reset preferences: Open GPS Area → Settings → Danger Zone → Reset Settings.
  3. Remove the app and local container: Open iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → GPS Area → Delete App. This removes app-local data stored by iOS for GPS Area on that device.
  4. Revoke permissions: Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services / Tracking / Motion & Fitness / Camera and change GPS Area access as desired.

Important: Deleting the app or saved measurements does not cancel an Apple subscription. Subscription cancellation is handled separately by Apple.

Support records

Delete support emails and request records

If you emailed support, we may have your email address, message text, attachments, screenshots, and troubleshooting details you voluntarily included. To request deletion of support records, email ravi.patel20102002@gmail.com with the subject “GPS Area Support Data Deletion Request”.

We may retain limited records if required for legal, security, dispute, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons.

Analytics and ads

Analytics, ad identifiers, and third-party controls

Firebase, Google AdMob, Apple, Meta, and TikTok may process device identifiers or app events according to their own policies when their services are used. Because GPS Area does not have user accounts, some analytics/ad records may be stored by app-instance or device identifiers rather than your email address.

  • Tracking permission: Change ATT permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → GPS Area.
  • Google ad controls: Manage Google ad personalization through Google’s ad settings and privacy controls.
  • Firebase identifiers: Contact support if you want help with Firebase app-instance-related deletion. We may need additional device/app information to process what is technically available.
  • Third-party deletion: Use Apple, Google, Meta, or TikTok privacy tools for data controlled by those providers.
Apple purchases

Subscriptions and purchase history

Apple processes GPS Area Pro purchases and subscriptions. We cannot delete Apple’s billing history from your Apple Account. To manage or cancel a subscription, open iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, or follow Apple’s official guide: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple.
