Common questions

Why does GPS Area need location?

Location powers land area measurement, distance tracking, map centering, speed, POI search, and weather. Saved measurements stay local unless you export/share them.

How do I delete my data?

Delete one measurement in Library/Detail, delete all in Settings → Danger Zone, or delete the app from iOS Storage. See Data Deletion.

How do I cancel Pro?

Apple handles billing. Open iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → GPS Area, then choose Cancel Subscription if available.

Will ads track me?

AdMob may use identifiers and ad interactions. iOS App Tracking Transparency controls whether GPS Area can use data for cross-app tracking where ATT applies.

Are measurements legally binding?

No. GPS Area is an estimation and field planning tool. Use a licensed surveyor or official records for legal boundaries or high-stakes decisions.

What should I send support?

Send app version, iOS version, device model, issue steps, and screenshots if helpful. Avoid sharing sensitive coordinates unless needed.
